Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Fortitude Cost?

The program is free to those who commit to being there on time every day and working hard. We are a non-profit corporation that raises funds so that you can attend at no cost.

Can I attend if I don’t have a high school diploma?

To advance to a career starting position with our hiring partners, Fortitude participants must have a high school diploma or GED.

How long is the program?

Our Build program cohorts are a total of eight weeks. Participants are encouraged to hold the time open on their calendars so that they are there for the entire eight weeks. Because our modules build on the learning from the previous week, missing time during the eight weeks would mean a participant would be released from the program.

What will I get from the program?

Upon completing the program, you can look forward to having the skills to support your ambitions in the construction trade and improved eligibility into apprenticeship programs. You will receive OSHA-10, Fork Lift, Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, Flagger Certifications, and Hilti Tool training. Our goal is to make our graduates among the most desirable candidates for hire throughout the industry.
